FIRMWARE ENGINEER

Full-Time position in Valencia, SPAIN / Remote

We are looking for a firmware engineer with knowledge in Electronic and PCB design for embedded systems to join our team in providing life-changing services for rural homes in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. We help design energy access products (solar kits, cookstoves, etc.) and build fintech and management software that allows distributors to provide essential services affordably using mobile payments to over 200,000 people, adding thousands more every month.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • C/C++ knowledge and experience in developing complex firmware for embedded systems are required.

  • Preferable if you also have experience with STM32 and/or MSP430 firmware development.

  • Bluetooth and Wi-Fi communication experience is a plus.

  • Bonus points if you also have good electronics skills (Schematic and Layout PCB design -
    KiCad/Eagle)

What’s the deal?

  • Start Date: TBC

  • Duration: Permanent/Long term.

  • Location: Ideally at our offices in Valencia, Spain but remote work can be arranged.

  • All business-related expenses paid.

  • Special travelling allowance to go meet your colleagues wherever they work from.

  • Fair compensation based on skills and experience
